Are you familiar with Agoda’s promotion terms?

Agoda’s promotional activities are divided into three major categories: Seasonal Promotions, Essential Promotions, and Targeted Promotions.

The three categories are mutually stackable.

Essential Promotions are further split into multiple sub-categories, which can also be stacked with each other. Stacking eligibility is at the hotel’s discretion.

Targeted Promotions also include a variety of sub-categories, which are mandatorily stacked by default. They cover four types: Product, Platform, Geography and Loyalty.

Essential Promotions are categorized into the following types:

  • Occupancy Rate
  • Customized
  • Early Bird
  • Last-Minute
  • Long Stay

Targeted Promotions consist of the following categories:

  • Platform
  • Product
  • Geography
  • Loyalty

In addition to the foregoing promotional activities, Agoda provides three traffic-boosting programs:

  • Sponsored Listing
  • Growth Program
  • Growth Express

For these three programs, mandatory stacking applies once participation is activated.

Once enrolled in the Growth Program, it is non-cancellable within the first 90 days.

After the 90-day period, self-initiated cancellation is still not allowed; any cancellation request must be submitted and processed manually via the platform.
